Coleen Fitzgibbon’s LES (1976/2011) is screening Monday, August 5th at La Plaza Cultural community garden (Avenue C and East 9th St.) as part of the MoRUS Film Fest, organized by the Museum of Reclaimed Urban Space. LES will be shown along with Marci Reaven and Beni Matias’ Heart of Loisaida (1979) and Marlis Momber’s Viva Loisaida (1978). Doors open at 7:30pm, films begin at dusk. Refreshments provided, $5 (suggested) donation.
